Eberlein Park

Eberlein Park is a 25 acre park located in the North Eastern portion of the City. At this park users have access to seasonal restrooms, pavilion, grills, picnic areas, vast amounts of open green space, and a playground. This park is directly adjacent to the Mountain Bay State Trail and provides a great resting place for those traveling along it. Eberlein is the home park for youth soccer in the city.

Note:

FEES & CHARGES: $50.00 for residents, $75.00 for non-residents. Reservations for park shelters are available on a first come first serve basis and begin January 1st of each year.
WHAT FEE COVERS:
Use of exterior area of pavilion cover in case of rain, electric outlets, and bathrooms. Outside of the bathrooms, no other interior space of a park pavilion is available to the renter. There is NO GUARANTEE that the picnic tables will be in the shelter, but the renter may move tables from other areas in the same Park to shelter.

USE OF THE OUTSIDE AREA:
There is no charge for the use outside the shelter. However, groups renting shelter have priority over adjacent area to the shelter.
These policies are established for all groups receiving permission to use the facility under the jurisdiction of the Shawano Park & Rec. Dept. Please read and understand all statements BEFORE signing this form.
1. Event must be scheduled through the Park & Rec. program, RecDesk. Confirmation must be done in writing and signed by an authorized person representing the sponsoring organization. Reservations should be made at least one (1) week in advance. Fees must be paid in full at the time of rental.

2. CANCELLATIONS: NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR BAD WEATHER or CANCELLATIONS

3. USAGE REGULATIONS:
A. Glass beverage bottles are not permitted.
B. Dogs are allowed in all of the parks, but owners are required to clean up after them and keep them leashed (with the exception of the fenced area Animal Recreation Facility). Owners will also accept all responsibility for the actions of their dog(s).
C. All motor vehicles are prohibited on park grounds.
D. Shelters are not intended for use of public dances or beer parties.
E. It is understood that the City Police Dept. and any official employee of the Shawano Park & Recreation Department has the right to enter the facility at any time.
F. The City of Shawano and the Park & Recreation Dept. and its employees shall not be liable for any injuries, deaths, or property damage resulting from the above stated facility.
G. The City and the Park & Rec. Dept. are not responsible for articles left, lost, or stolen at the facility.
H. It shall be the responsibility of the user to maintain the shelter throughout the event and to restore all areas to the proper condition. The renter is responsible for any damage done to the park property by renter during the event.
